These are new old stock kits, back before Loctite bought out Hysol, I couldn't find
find any expiration date on the boxes or tubes. It's my experience epoxy if stored
at room temperature last almost indefinitely but just to be safe I squirted some
out and mixed it up to be sure with no problems, couple pictures of it mixed too.
The tubes on these are not sealed up like a silicone tube, there is already a hole
in the end of the tube when you screw the cap off, resin tube had no dried pieces
on the end, the hardener tube had a little bit of dryness in the very end, so I took
an 1/8 drill bit and stuck it in the end about a 1/4 and pulled a little dried part out
and that was it, probably normal really but just thought I would state that here.
Like I say, mixed up fine, no dried clumps or anything, smooth and creamy actually,
this stuff does dry rock hard though, it's not really flexible, works best at 65° and
up as far as mixing, if colder than that you'd have to heat the tubes up, as with
any 2 part epoxy putty etc. This goes for bucks a kit plus shipping, so your
buying 6 kits here for less than half price, so save some money here then.
