A scimitar is a backsword or sabre with a curved blade, originating in the Middle East. Scimitars were used in horse warfare because of their relatively light weight when compared to larger swords and their curved design, good for slashing opponents while riding on a horse. The curved design allowed riders to slash enemies and keep riding without getting stuck as stabbing with straight swords on horseback would. The scimitar is also used in Saudi Arabia as an executioner's tool for beheading. So if your little tike is locked in battle upon his mighty steed thi scimitar is the best choice for getting him safely through his battle.  The Abbas is made from Steamed Beach Wood that has been hand carved.  It is a lightweight so there is no chance of getting tired when locked in the throes of battle.
