New unopened! Vintage Mary Proctor Ironing Board #62231 Full Size Blue 1960’s

Here you have a very rare Vintage Metal Proctor Silex 62231 Ironing Board Full Size Blue 1960’s!   This ironing board was never out of the packaging and it would be almost impossible to find one that is unopened!  The outside of the packaging of Box is showing signs of wear from shelf life but this is from the sixties so for the most part it's in great shape. On the bottom of the Box there is a small water stain which was from tap water from a pipe leak from 35 years ago.  the water only touched the bottom of the Box for a few seconds and was moved. As you will see in a couple of the photos I attempted to take some pictures through a small hole in the corner of the packaging on the other end,  I carefully put my finger in between the 2 layers of cardboard and took a picture inside to prove that the item is the correct color,  and you could tell that it had never been used or out of the packaging. There possibly could be a few scoffs and marks on it from moving around in the Box but we cannot know for sure unless we opened it which we were trying to avoid doing.  the packaging still has the original glue on the top in bottom of the Box. This board was purchased by my grandmother a very long time ago and was put up in the attic for many years.  It was originally purchased at a store called Korvettes which was in Southgate Michigan the store has been gone for over 30 years!  We are just assuming that the ironing board is almost in perfect condition due to the fact it has never been out of the Box or used but we cannot guarantee without opening it! but if we were to open it the value of this item would go down tremendously! so we are selling it as is to someone that is a collector or possibly For a dry cleaning business that wants to use it for a display. Or possibly for a museum for vintage And antique clothes items assesories.  In a couple of the pictures we tried very hard to get a decent photo of frame & board.  as you will see there is a couple that show the color of the ironing board.  If you have any questions at all please feel free to ask so there is no confusion about item before purchasing or making an offer.
